Employer Overview:
Become a part of a prestigious 250-year-old international machine manufacturing company in Germany, having strong workforce of 1500 employees! Renowned for its traditional values and innovative approach, our client is looking for a skilled PLC Programmer to join their product team.
In this role, your focus will be on PLC programming in a continuous development process for their machines and there is no need for experience in commissioning and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and implement modular PLC software for series electronics production machines
- Continuous Programming using CODESYS and Structured Text.
- Developing, modifying, and expanding existing software, as well as refining software based on error reports.
- Collaborate with clients and end-users to determine software requirements
- Engage in development activities in close collaboration with internal engineers (No need for travel)
Qualifications / Your Profile:
- Bachelors or Master Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming either with CODESYS and Structured Text or with B&R or Beckhoff PLC and Structured Text.
- Experience in at least one project where you have worked on continuous development with code that is 100,000 lines or more.
- Good knowledge of communication with Fieldbuses, preferably experienced in using variants like IO-Link, CANopen, and EtherCAT.
- Experience in controlling and optimizing at least one Servo or Stepper Motor.
- Willingness to learn the German language.
